Table of Contents & Supplementary Info

With few exceptions, article texts and images are NOT posted to either 3dartist.com or authors' Web sites. A number of this issue's authors do have or will be creating online support pages for their print articles with additional information and materials. The links for these are below, along with any complex links from the issue, run here just to save our readers the hassle of typing in long URLs. Many more (short) links will be found in the issue itself.

To obtain the printed magazine itself, please see details and order form for Single Issues. Six dollars U.S. puts this issue into the mail to you directly in the U.S.A., plus an airmail charge elsewhere.

Cover Story

The cover is by the team at Trinity Animation headed up by Jim Lammers, who arranged the scene, and finished by Amber West. The scene and rendering were done with 3DS Max, with some modeling in LightWave, including the airplane. See page 14 for a lot more about the cover and the comic animation that it was derived from, plus a related article on page 16 about using a game controller for motion capture.
