The "comprehensive" was put into the 3D Artist Comprehensive Index today, with the addition of online-only resource pages, and of collections of information such as stereo pairs and special indexing for women and international contributors.
More article indexing and cross-referencing completed.
2 & 5 December 1998
The 3D Artist Comprehensive Index was publicly posted for the first time on 2 Dec. 1998, initially covering 111 articles in issue #s 30 through 34. On the 5th, the Byliners page was closely integrated into the Index, helping to better cross-link contributors and their work, and we added or updated brief biographies for the 58 contributors ("byliners") then listed.

Notes
Most 3D Artist articles are NOT posted online in full, but we do put some very useful supplementary materials online. For example, check out:
"Snap-Dragging a Rope" (rope modeling) is an original and complete Carra how-to article supplementing "Unusual Twists" from issue #41.
And we have actually have a few instances where the Web supplement is bigger than the print article, such as:
MicroDEM for Artists, which has more more than its issue #43 article on merging 10 and 30m DEMs, and includes a lot more info as well.
Not an endorsement, but the fact is that all our pages work and look best in IE4+ or Navigator 4+, and should be OK also in later full versions of Opera.
